The Bigger Picture - an image of optimism which makes you feel content and satisfied, bringing you peace and a good night’s sleep
Everyone faces tonnes of hurdles of tiny or large magnitudes but everyone does face these obstacles in their day to day lives which is inevitable, but it is up to you whether you take these hurdles positively or negatively.
No destination or result is as fruitful as one achieved after going through a journey to reach that destination.
We are all - in our own ways - facing multiple hurdles and problems in our life which may be work related or even personal issues. This can affect anyone adversely as we are all humans. Whether this effect is long lasting and constantly bothering you or whether you forget about it is completely up to you. When such issues are constantly on your mind they may affect your work, your mood and how you treat people around you too. Sometimes you may say things or do things you don’t mean as such effects are overpowering your mind and taking control of your emotions and thoughts.
This can be tackled by thinking of ‘The Bigger Picture’.
Everything we do in our lives, all the work and effort we put in is all because we wish to achieve something- big or small- but we do it with some end point in mind. This ‘end point’ in most cases is a positive and optimistic view as we are working towards something we want and need and will bring our lives satisfaction. So in such cases where you face relevant or irrelevant obstacles, in my opinion, it is important to remember the bigger picture. It is why you are doing, what you are doing right now. It is the objective of all the work and turmoil you readily go through. This image and thought can help you overcome any negative thought or stress considering it as just a speed bump in your journey.
Everyone is destined for something, everyone has somewhere to be in the next few years of their lives irrespective of where it is, we are all doing something to better that something.
A person with this strong mindset and this strong thought process would be one who will be unbothered by anyone and anything around them and will know that if it is not relevant to them or their endpoint, they will be serene at all times. This is the unidirectional mindset of every content person because frankly keeping yourself happy while keeping everyone else happy too is unachievable in most circumstances. Hence, this unidirectional mindset is the only way to unbothered undisturbed growth.
In todays day, accessibility to everything at any point or any time is so easy that there are numerous opportunities for such an obstacle to come in your way as things are easily acquirable. There are multiple pressures that people nowadays feel which 10-15 years ago never existed. It is much harder to keep your head straight at all times and this is why according to me this bigger picture is the single, most helpful way of being centred in life.
Think of your short-term or even long-term endpoint or rather milestone and keep moving ahead. This can be 5 years down the line or even 15-20 years ahead. Being true to ourselves, we all think about what and where we would be realistically and no one would think negatively for themselves.
This image is your ‘Bigger Picture’
Irrelevant obstacles and issues are a part of life and inevitable but it is always up to you whether to be unbothered or to be distressed and disconcerted. If something is in your way that will not be of any importance to you and your life sometime-the lesser importance and relevance are given- the better.
There will always be people talking, and there will always be people who do not agree with your choices - even family at times - but as long as you are sure and have faith in yourself and what you are doing, take opinions into consideration but leave the decision to yourself. Some of today's greatest inventions were never appreciated and looked down upon as failures, but the end product left people speechless.
The world does not know and does not need to know what you do and what you have to do. It’s only you and up to you to do what you need to pass this milestone in your life. Be clear in what you have to and want to do - even for enjoyment or fun with friends and family- assurity is a must.
Think of the Bigger Picture. Keep moving forward.
After a lot of hesitation and thought and well a long time I’ve shared another bit of my thoughts and opinions. Hope you enjoyed it.
